Being the Good Spouse

I always enjoyed reading Abraham bargaining with God for Sodom where he asks God if he can find 50 good people in there that he won’t bomb the place.

              God agrees.

              Then Abraham has the audacity to ask for 40, 30, 20 and then 10.

              My disagreeableness smiles with this.    

              But, what does this mean?

              Our world is screwed, always will be. But if, in your time and home and country, there are 10 good people who will tell the truth.

              Well then, you have hope to turn this corruption around.

              10 can defeat and save billions.

              And then let us pull this idea into your life and why you may be single.

              You live in this corrupt world where people are doing the things that keep them single and that create horrific relationships and marriages.

              That’s overwhelming because there are so many people who are “looking for a relationship,”  but they’re really just looking for someone to do the things for them that they should be doing themselves.

              But if you tell the truth, straiten up your life and become the kind of man or woman the kind of man or would you want would want, then you two save each other’s lives, and save the kids that you will have and then save the community you’re in and save the spouse that your kids will have.

              That’s how direly important it is for you to be the kind of good spouse that the kind of good spouse you need would need.

              Let’s turn your life around so you can be that spouse.
